Peony, Pearls and Ruffles Cake

6 inch, 2 layer bottom tier-fondant
4 inch 2 layer top tier- 50-50 fondant gum paste.
Peony- gum paste.
No fondant under pearls or ruffles.
Next time, make ruffles taller so I glue them a little more apart and a little longer to to bottom..  don't think i need to add gum paste to ruffles.

Sushi Cakeballs

Shredded fondant with pizza cutter to make "rice".  Tried white nonpareils but came out too round.  Want to try shredded coconut flakes and jimmies.  for the "sushi" I tried dried papaya to make sushi.
